Trophy Bull Hunt Info
This is a full-day hunt.
Our mature bulls carry heavy, prime coats well suited to head or head-and-shoulder mounts, robes, and European mounts. Live weights generally reach 2,000 pounds and yield roughly 400 pounds of meat or more. You choose the bull you want to take.
Hunts begin at 8:00 A.M. Only one trophy bull is taken on any given day.
The herd ranges across more than 11,000 acres, so expect a real search alongside your guide before you find the animal you are after.
Trophy bulls are exceptionally tough and have remarkable stamina, so this hunt is open to experienced hunters only. A .30 caliber or larger rifle is required, loaded with solid bullets such as Nosler Solid, Barnes Banded Solid, or North Fork Technologies Solids. Your guide will position you for a close stalk and a clean shot.
Our crew field dresses your animal and loads it onto your open bed pickup or open trailer. Arranging a processor in advance and hauling the animal to them is your responsibility, and we have information on recommended processors near the ranch on our Processing page. Lodging and meals are your responsibility and are available in Wheatland, 30 miles from the ranch.
