A Day You'll Never Forget
1
Find the Herd
You and your guide will drive as close as the bison and the terrain allow, glassing until we find just the right group.
2
Stalk on Foot
You'll dismount and close the distance. Depending on the ground, that may be a short walk or a longer hike.
3
Pick your Bison
Your guide gives advice, talks through the animals, and waits with you until you get that perfect shot.
4
Field Dressing
We handle the animal in the field and help get it loaded in your trailer or pickup for processing by your outside vendor.
Firearms
Bison are tough! These hunts require an experienced and accurate marksman with long range big game rifles
We adhere to Wyoming Game and Fish Department's minimum for rifles for shooting bison, which dictate they shall only be taken with a firearm which has a barrel bore diameter of at least twenty-seven hundredths of an inch (.27) and is chambered to fire a center-fire cartridge not less than 2″ in overall length. The cartridge shall have a minimum of a one hundred fifty grain bullet.
Minimum caliber
.27 bore diameter and up. We recommend at least .30 caliber.
Solid bullets only
Nosler Solid, Barnes Banded Solid, or North Fork Technologies Solids. Other types have not been satisfactory with bison, and lead bullets can leave toxins in your meat.
Cartridge length
Center-fire, not less than 2″ overall, with a 150 grain bullet minimum.

Not Allowed
Bows, black powder, or short-range weapons are not allowed.
